Awarding Series 19 and HPO

(Union City, CA) August, 2021 – Finelite, Inc., a recognized leader in energy-efficient lighting systems for offices, educational, and healthcare facilities, is pleased to announce that two new product families, Series 19 and HPO were recognized by the Illuminating Engineering Society for inclusion in the 2021 IES Progress Report.

Series 19 displays a unique aesthetic and remarkable performance at an affordable cost. The wide indirect batwing distribution and 18’ spacing capabilities make S19 ideal for education and commercial office applications with varying ceiling heights. S19 features illuminated endcaps and a unique segmented joining design that emphasizes the slim pin-point form factor.

HPO's micro round 3.5" diameter form factor delivers unprecedented performance and is available with Round or Flat endcap options that distinctly change the luminaire aesthetic. The 2.5’ aperture and enhanced optical options of HPO unlock the potential for new design capabilities in low-to-high ceiling applications. HPO is Title 24 JA8 Compliant and is engineered with contractors in mind featuring plug together wiring and an integral driver design that reduces installation cost.

Series 19 and HPO are third-party verified Red List Approved through the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Declare 2.0 expanding Finelite’s sustainable and healthy product portfolio.

The IES Progress Committee is mandated to "keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world, and prepare a yearly review of achievements for the Illuminating Engineering Society.” Acceptance into the annual Progress Report is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry.
