Personalize the system to fit the work area using multiple Desk Lamps, multiple Undercabinet units, or combinations of both in groupings of up to 60 watts total power.
Integrated Solutions
Tired of the waste and inaccuracy of traditional lighting? Many work areas with standard lighting are illuminated at a constant level throughout the space, often receiving more light than necessary for task requirements and occupancy needs. At Finelite, we believe lighting doesn't have to be that way.
For individual work areas, when ambient lighting is designed to optimize the benefits of PLS, phenomenal energy-saving opportunities exist. While task-ambient design as a concept is not new, reduced ambient lighting (known as task/low-ambient lighting design) provides energy efficiency and better lighting quality when integrated with the PLS high-quality task lighting: - Task/low-ambient design reduces power density while decreasing glare.
- Ambient lighting systems as low as 0.5 watts per square foot, fully integrated with PLS, yield remarkable lighting quality, improve worker productivity, and save energy.
- Low-ambient-level designs mean using fewer overhead luminaires, lamps and ballasts, further reducing the lighting system?s environmental impact.
When combined with low ambient lighting, the PLS results in extraordinarily low lighting loads. This optimal, sustainable solution meets IESNA target design criteria for office environments.
