This system was developed based on the findings of the Department of Energy funded-research project "Luminaires for Advanced Lighting in Education." Finelite partnered with RTI International in the research and development of the Next Generation Integrated Lighting System for the Classroom of the Future.
FineTune TCS is a powerful system that puts a new level of layered control in the hands of the user. TCS enhances the learning experience by providing a state-of-the-art lighting environment that easily adjusts the lighting conditions – both color and illuminance levels – to the task at hand. The system is equipped with easy-to-understand controls and research driven factory preloaded scenes that are customizable for the user.
Using standard CAT5 cabling provided by Finelite, TCS plugs together Control Stations, Switches, Layer Packs, Sensors, and LED Luminaires creating a lighting system that is scalable, affordable, and easy-to-install. The system features robust and easily identifiable components all backed by a single-source Finelite warranty.
